When and how to use the Ice, Speed and Precision Modes

Gentle Mode

When to use?

Use for when you need extra-gentle treatment. Perfect for stubborn, coarse hair such as bikini line, VIO and underarms. 

How to use?

Ice Mode is the standard mode for Pure Switch, so there’s no need for you to do anything.

Speed Mode

Enjoy 2 x faster treatments with speed mode, with up to 3 flashes every second. It contours to the curves of your body for better coverage and fewer missed spots using our patented Adapt Plus technology.

When to use?

Use for faster treatments on larger body areas. Treat a full body in just 7 minutes (when using Ice Mode on bikini and underarms and Speed Mode on legs). 

How to use?

Attach the speed head to your device to activate. Hold the treatment button down and ‘glide’ along the skin, mimicking a shaving technique. Pure Switch will continuously flash for fast treatments. Watch our how-to-use video for extra guidance.

Good to know: Ice cooling will be disabled during this time. Treatments will feel a little warmer, with most users describing it as a 2/10. You can also adjust your comfort level by tapping the power button to switch between low, medium and high. For best results, we recommend choosing ‘3 – high’.

Precision Mode

A smaller, more targeted treatment head for hard-to-navigate areas. 

When to use?

Use to easily treat smaller areas such as upper lip, fingers and toes. 

How to use?

Attach the precision head to your device to activate. We recommend using stamp mode for this, simply place the device on the desired area, press the treatment button, move to the next area and repeat. Watch our how-to-use video for extra guidance.
